The new ABB welding robot recently installed at MCT Brattberg provides us with greater welding capacity. This enables us, for example, to have shorter lead times when delivering cable and pipe transits for larger projects. In addition, the higher delivery security makes us less sensitive to any disturbances that may occur in the production flow.
The increased flexibility also means that we can robot weld a greater range of transits, and our customers benefit from the more uniform transit quality made possible by the very high process repeatability of robot welding.
Our manual welders also avoid monotonous and heavy welding jobs through the better work environment achieved by our new robot welder.
