Overview
ALF cabinet seal is a cable penetration for applications where dust and water tightness are demanded. ALF comes as 2 different types, complete kit with gasket, sealing washers, bolts and nuts. Type 2 is also available with EMC protection.

For standard sizes please see instructions and datasheet, but product can also be supplied in multiple variations to suit customer requirements. ALF allows many cables to be installed into a small area, the clear opening and remove-able sides facilitate the installation of pre-terminated cables.
The cables are individually sealed with 30 mm deep Lycron inserts which are supplied from MCT Brattbergs.
ALF is compressed with two socket headed bolts using a standard 6 mm Allen key the simplicity of the system ensures it is easy to add or remove cable as required.
ALF is an anodized aluminium frame and supplied with a gasket, stainless steel fixing bolts, and sealing washers. See datasheet for exact components and materials for your ALF type.

ALF is installed with MCT Brattberg Lycron Blocks.

Correct and safe installations
To achieve the highest standard of safety, a cable or pipe transit must be installed correctly. As there are many different types of frame – which may be either welded, bolted or glued into position – and insert block, it is essential that installers known when to use the most appropriate installation method.
